Some Examples
1. Linux and Libre
A company had 10 workstations connected to their server. They ran Windows 10, which Microsoft will soon stop supporting. Due to their age, Windows 11 could not be installed on them.
Continuing with Windows 10 would be unsafe. We installed Linux and Libre Office on these machines via remote access, first as a trial version, and then on all machines once they were satisfied. We set up their own customized email solution on their server instead of MS Exchange.
The customer avoided discarding fully functional machines and purchasing new ones.
The customer’s chosen price plan: a one-time fee with additional intervention as needed.
2. Need to renew 25 PC workstations
Desktop as a service – “Desktops” were created on a company server accessed by simple, cheap workstations. No loss of functionality.
Pricing chosen by client: a one-off fee with further intervention according to needs.
